Nicole's broad background of massage and bodywork experience provides her Tucson spa clients with a world class experience.

Nicole has been a massage therapist for a very active nine years.
Massage School - Washington State
In massage school she excelled, loving the analytical side of studying anatomy. She came to it well grounded in bodywork with over 8 years of yoga training. She graduated with honors and received her Washington State Massage License in 2000. Nicole also began her training in Thai Massage in the last months of school.
Intensive Clinic Treatment Training
Directly out of school, Nicole spent a year and a half working for a busy chiropractic office in Washington State, mainly treating car accident victims and other injured people. Nicole was mentored by an experienced therapist, and learned an extensive amount about the body and treating pain (as well as how to take care of her own physical health). She continued her Thai Massage training during this time as well.
A Business Entrepreneur & Continued Bodywork Training
In 2001 Nicole opened her own business, a natural health center in Bellingham, WA. Nicole realized she wanted to work with people who enjoyed massage for it's relaxing and preventative qualities, not just injury treatment. In addition to her massage services the business had a store with natural health items for the public as well as becoming the main massage therapy supplies resource for the other massage therapy businesses in the area. The store included an extensive selection of organic essential oils, aromatherapy classes, yoga supplies, massage tables, and massage classes for the public. She became a certified aromatherapist during this period.
Rapid Growth
Nicole's business was very successful and within one year had grown considerably. She moved to a 3000 sq foot location that now offered several massage rooms, a bigger retail area, a dedicated yoga and massage classroom, and she hired three additional massage therapists.
A Move to the Desert
After three years of successfully owning her own business Nicole realized that it did not fit the lifestyle she wanted. She sold her business in 2004.
To expand her massage experience, Nicole decided to work at a high-end destination resort somewhere in the world. She chose Tucson for it's beautiful scenery and resorts. For the last five years has offered her services at the Sonoran Spa. She has learned many new styles of massage and spa services while there, and over the last several years has studied reflexology and has become a Reiki Master. More recently Nicole has helped develop some of the new services at the spa including the wonderful new Monsoon Aroma Ceremony.
The Personal Side
Nicole keeps her life balanced by working four days a week. And when not at the spa she loves to cook, hike and is an avid traveler. She and her husband Galen are currently creating a world-wide tropical snorkeling guide.
